Synopsis:
The story of poor Mother Goose , who is befriended by Priscilla, the goose that lays golden eggs. Although suddenly rich, she finds that wealth cannot buy her beauty and in desperation, she finally swops Priscilla for the promise of youth and beauty, as offered by the evil wizard, Hassan. However, she soon realises that beauty is not everything and that she must get Priscilla back and after a visit to King & Queen Gander in Gooseland, Priscilla agrees to return and they all live happily ever after.

PLAYWRIGHT:
This script was adapted by June Colledge
from her mother's (Marjorie Ristorie)
professional script. It has since been
adapted by Suzi Allan, (June's daughter)
whos continuing work keeps our pantos
hilariously funny and topical,
but always traditional.
